About Me

It's all about the beads...
Over the years, I have experimented with various creative endeavors from my early years embroidering to falling in love with patchwork quilts and collecting fabrics and textiles.

I once thought I'd like to own a fabric store!

I have worked in a big craft store for the past ten years, in various job titles.
I love to help customers find the correct products to complete their projects.

Right now, I am involved in stocking and inventorying the bead and jewelry department.

I also teach basic jewelry techniques at 'my' store. Bead stringing, crimping and wire wrapping are among the subjects I teach.

I find teaching one-on-one or in a small group very satisfying.

I have a wonderful collection craft supplies collected over the years. I have at times bought and started more projects than one woman can finish in a lifetime. But, there's always something new to try!

I enjoy macro photography, especially flowers, and am loving how much I am learning about photographing for my blog.
